Benchmark tests begin this week at St. Mary's.

Fourth Grade will take the Language Arts Benchmark on Wednesday, March 4 and the Math Benchmarks on Tuesday, March 10.

On tests days, please be sure that your child does the following:

--Eats a nutritious breakfast

--Gets plenty of sleep the night before

--Arrives to school on time (All students arriving to school on time on test days will receive a homework pass to be used on a future assignment).

 

There is no school on Friday, March 6.

 

Lenten Food Drive begins. Bags will be sent home this week.

Lenten Food Drive 2015 Answering the call to serve those in need by sharing in faith and restoring hope one bag at a time.

A-C Canned Fruits– in own juice or light syrup (pineapple, peaches and pears, applesauce)

D-F 100% Fruit Juice (all sizes including juice boxes) G-I Pastas and Sauces (pasta, spaghetti sauce, macaroni & cheese) J-L Canned Vegetables– low sodium (mixed, green beans, corn, tomatoes)

M-N Soups (beef stew, chili, chicken noodle, turkey, rice)

O-Q Whole Grain Cereal (cheerios, cornflakes, raisin bran, plain oatmeal) R-S Latin American Foods (rice, dried red/black beans, corn tortilla flour) T-V Healthy Snacks (raisins, dried fruits, nuts)

W-Z Canned Proteins (tuna, salmon, chicken, peanut butter) Please do NOT donate perishable foods or items packed in plastic bags or glass Collection Details Bags will be distributed to all schools and parishes from March 2nd-5th. Simply fill a bag with food and return it to your parish or school by the date below: Schools: March 9th-13th. As we celebrate the season of Lent, may we continue to answer the Gospel call to serve those in need. Please help make a difference for local families by filling this bag with food. Donations will benefit the Marlboro Food Bank. To ensure that area pantries receive what is really needed, please fill this bag from the category paired with the first letter of your last name.
